Chocolate scented Mac lipgloss? Gimme!

This limited edition shade is part of Mac’s tinted lipglass range:

“A unique lip gloss available in a wide variety of colours that can create a high gloss, glass-like finish or a subtle sheen. Designed to be worn on its own, over Lip Pencil or Lipstick, Tinted Lipglass is the perfect product for creating shine that lasts. It’s pigmented, very shiny and can impart subtle or dramatic colour. It contains Jojoba Oil to help soften and condition the lips. Tinted Lipglass is packaged in a convenient bottle with a sponge tip applicator that provides a quick, smooth, even application.”

(Mac Uk)

I tried the £14 lipglass on bare lips, and it gave such a good colour I don’t think I’d ever put it over a lipstick, there’s just no need to! The colour I chose is called ‘Liqueur’, a gorgeous brown tone  which seems to bring out my brown eyes, and it has a pink undertone which makes the shade subtle enough for daily wear. The gloss is beautiful, very shimmery and light-reflecting without looking tacky or gloopy like cheaper glosses can do. Now it doesn’t mention anywhere on the Mac website that this lipgloss is scented with chocolate, but it surely is, it even tastes a  bit chocolatey! For this reason my photo had to include a malteaser, my favorite chocolate!

The colour lasted for hours, though the shimmer did fade away a bit after eating and drinking, but it only takes seconds to reapply.

Have you tried any other shades of  Mac lipglasses? I’ll certainly be buying more!
