“There’s only one man for Bonnie, and that’s Holden Finn. The problem is that Holden Finn is a twenty-three-year-old pop megastar with his boy band, Every Which Way, and has no idea she exists. Not only that, but half the women in the world want to be Mrs Finn, including Bonnie’s teenage daughter, Paige. The real men in Bonnie’s life do nothing but let her down, but a man you can’t possibly have can never do that… right?
Then Paige wins a radio competition to meet Holden and the band, and Bonnie’s carefully-constructed world starts to unravel. She is about to find out that you should be very, very careful what you wish for … “
Not the most believable story line, I’ll give you…, but this book is perfect chick-lit material, its light-hearted and very enjoyable!
The frothy comic tale is told through the eyes of Bonnie; a rejected and heartbroken single mum who longs for romance. Unfortunately she chooses to focus her attention on unobtainable superstars rather than the cute delivery man who desperately wants a date with her…
When her dreams come true and Bonnie finally meets the object of her affections (through a range of suspicious coincidences) her world, and that of her 15 year old daughter, is threatened by his affections. Add the reappearance of an aggressive ex, Bonnie’s hippy mum threatening to elope and the aforementioned delivery man falling for someone else and Bonnie’s life really does seem set to ‘unravel’!
Hopelessly devoted to Holden Finn by Tilly Tennant is a perfect holiday read; witty, romantic and interesting enough whilst not being too intricate or taxing. Hopefully, like me, readers will love Bonnie’s crazy ex-rocker mum, develop a crush on Max and find her colleague Linda very mischievous, cheeky and really funny!
Hopelessly devoted to Holden Finn is available to purchase now on kindle for £1.99 or as a paperback for £5.63.
